DCOSS 2020 Program (Main Event)

DCOSS 2020 ONLINE EVENT: The online event will be available June 15-17 to registered attendees and will include the camera ready version of the papers, presentations of the papers as well as an asynchronous discussion forum with a separate discussion thread per paper. Detailed access information will follow by email to registered attendees soon.

Foreword by the TPC Co-chairs

DCOSS 2020 is excited to present the latest research in distributed sensor network systems and the Internet of Things. The papers cover a wide range of topics from sensing at the micro level (e.g., hand gestures) to the large spatial span (e.g., wildfires and cities) utilizing novel sensors, wireless technologies, and new data analysis techniques. The papers also represent good examples of analytical and systems approaches to addressing the sensing problems.

This year, the conference received a total of 50 paper submissions. Each paper received 3-4 reviews. After the review, the papers were discussed extensively by the technical program committee and one external reviewer to finally arrive at an accept/reject recommendation. After the rigorous peer-review, a total of 17 papers were accepted for publication.

We would like to thank the researchers for submitting and presenting their work to the conference. We would like to thank the members of the technical program committee for reviewing the papers. Finally, we would like to thank the entire conference organizing committee for all the logistical support provided to the TPC over many months of its work.
