OTE

EU Project SAFE STRIP

SAFE STRIP (SAFE and green Sensor Technologies for self-explaining and forgiving Road Interactive aPplications) aims to introduce a disruptive technology that will embed C-ITS applications into existing road infrastructure, including I2V and V2I communications as well as VMS/VSL functions into low-cost, integrated strip markers on the road. These strips will support intelligent transport systems (ITS) services and apps as they provide personalised in-vehicle messages for all road users (trucks, cars and vulnerable road users, such as PTWs riders) and all vehicle generations (non-equipped, C-ITS equipped, autonomous), at a reduced maintenance cost, fully recyclability and containing added-value services, as well as supporting real-time predictive road maintenance functions.

Athenian Brewery

Athenian Brewery is the largest beer producer and importer in Greece, with over 55 years of market presence. Originally founded in 1963 by a team of five Greek entrepreneurs, the company is now part of HEINEKEN Group.

Computer Technology Institute and Press "Diophantus"

The Computer Technology Institute and Press "Diophantus" is a research and technology organization focusing on research and development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Particular emphasis is placed on education, by developing and deploying conventional and digital media in education and lifelong learning; publishing printed and electronic educational materials; administrating and managing the Greek School Network; and supporting the organization and operation of the electronic infrastructure of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and all educational units. Since its establishment in 1985, and in the past decades of rapid technological development, CTI has actively contributed to many of the advances that today are taken for granted. Among its main goals is to conduct basic and applied research in ICT.

IEEE

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. As the world’s top member organization dedicated to computer science and technology, the IEEE Computer Society advances the theory, practice, and application of computer and information-processing science and technology, as well as the professional standing of its members.

The TC on Parallel Processing (TCPP) acts as an international forum to promote parallel processing research and education, and participates in setting up technical standards in this area.
